This bust is on display at the Huntington Gallery in San Marino, CA. It’s in a room with some of Gainsborough’s most popular paintings and some other stunning works of portraiture and marble busts. Yet every time I go, I cannot help but marvel at this one… because this is one damn fine looking clergyman.
