But I know a book is really good if I can't put it down while I'm eating lunch.

2. What is your favorite drink while reading?
Earl Grey tea.

3. Do you tend to mark your books as you read, or does the idea of writing in books horrify you?
I don't write in the books because they are generally from the library. I have read library books before that other people wrote notes in, and it's ANNOYING.

4. How do you keep your place while reading a book? Bookmark? Dog-ear? Laying the book flat open?
Dog-ear forever!

5. Fiction, Non-Fiction, or Both?
Both. I just go to the "new" section at the library and pull out whatever looks interesting.

6. Are you a person who tends to read to the end of a chapter, or can you stop anywhere?
I stop wherever.

7. Are you a person to throw a book across the room or on the floor if the author irritates you?
I can't recall having done that. But I am definitely the kind of person who will stop reading anything boring immediately. I don't know who's smoking crack on the Pulitzer Prize committee these days, but snore.

8. If you come across an unfamiliar word, do you stop and look it up right away?
Fuck that.

9. What are you currently reading?
I just finished Sarah Silverman's "The Bedwetter" and a book about not eating in restaurants called "The Art of Eating In". So, I'm between books.

10. What is the last book you bought?
Oh, man, it's been a while. Um, it was a gift for a friend, the Robert Crumb version of "Genesis". I read a library copy of it, though, and it's amazing.

11. Are you a person that reads one book at a time, or can you read more than one?
Unless a book is AMAZING, I usually juggle two or three at the same time.

12. Do you have a favorite time/place to read?
I read every night in the bathtub.

13. Do you prefer series books or stand-alones?
Series seem like too much work to me.

14. Is there a specific book or author you find yourself recommending over and over?
"The Elegance of the Hedgehog", "The Bloody Chamber", and "Valley of the Dolls".

15. How do you organize your books? By genre, title, author's last name, etc?
I don't actually own that many books, so they're just hanging out together on our bookshelves. One shelf is for my husband, and the other one is mine.luv_bughttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09864732612293337456noreply@blogger.com
